Blue Christmas – Service of Healing
Sunday, Dec 23 at 3 pm
For some of us, the holidays aren’t always the joyous times you would expect.
You are not alone
Please join Pastor Tim on Sunday, Dec. 23rd at 3:00pm for a special “Blue Christmas” service filled with carols and scriptures to help those feeling a little blue.
All are welcome, tell your friends.
Christmas Eve Worship Services
Monday December 24 at 5 PM and 11 PM
All are welcome at the 5 pm worship service with holy communion. This is a family friendly service.
The Cherub and Covenant Choirs will help lead the Christmas play at the 5:00 service, which affords the chance for all children in attendance to choose a costume and participate.
A small ensemble of Middle School and High School youth will also play instruments during the play. Additionally, several children and youth will make musical offerings during the prelude. We will sing Silent Night by glow stick light followed by Joy to the World as we head out from worship to celebrate the birth of Jesus. It is a joy filled, delightful service!
The 11 pm Candlelight worship service features holy communion. This service features more traditional elements of our liturgy, a Cantata called Candles and Carols performed by our Adult Choir, and music from our worship instrumental ensemble. We will sing Silent Night by candlelight followed by Joy to the World as we head out from worship to celebrate the birth of Jesus.
